MICHELIN Celebrate Anderson 2024

For 25 years, Anderson County has invited the community to “Celebrate Anderson” by hosting a free concert and fireworks show at the William A. Floyd Amphitheater over the Labor Day Weekend. As the community’s largest Labor Day celebration and in honor of reaching the 25th-anniversary milestone, Celebrate Anderson has expanded to two nights of high-caliber entertainment, vendors, food trucks, and fun for all ages.
Anderson County, WSSL, and WESC are excited to welcome national touring artists Randy Houser on Saturday, August 31, and Ashley McBryde on Sunday, September 1.
Concert Gates to William A. Floyd Amphitheater open at 5:30 on both nights.
Opening for Houser is Americana folk band, Happy Landing. Happy Landing is just coming off of an explosive performance at Lollapalooza this August. The band also performed at Bonnaroo and Floyd Fest this summer. Attendees may have seen them perform across the state at the Radio Room, opening a sold-out show for The Stews, or in Columbia at St. Pat’s in Five Points this past March.
On Sunday, Madeline Edwards will be opening for Ashley McBryde. Edwards headlined the Thursday night kickoff to Fall For Greenville last fall and opened for Morgan Wade at the Windjammer’s Beach Stage last summer. She will be touring in support of Morgan Wade again this fall after performing at Moon River Festival, Stagecoach, and Americana Fest.
Both concerts are FREE but do require a free ticket to enter. Organizers are expecting both events to reach capacity and encourage fans to get tickets early.
Lawn tickets are for fans who wish to bring their blankets and chairs to set up on the lawn. Standing Room Only tickets are for those who want to stand up close to the stage where chairs are not permitted. Fans are reminded that securing the free tickets helps organizers best prepare and communicate important information to ticket holders about the event.
Sunday’s Festival will be held from 1 pm – 6:30 pm, featuring food trucks, vendors, and kiddie rides on Johnny Mathis Blvd, the main entrance of Civic Center.
ASEC is a cashless venue, so guests are encouraged to please bring IDs and debit/credit cards to purchase food or alcohol.

Concert Attendees:
– Traffic on Civic Center Blvd traveling southeast should turn right onto Jim Ed Rice Parkway or turn right onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
– Traffic on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd traveling north should turn left onto David Lee Coffee Place.
– Traffic on Woodcrest Drive traveling north should turn right on to Old County Farm Blvd. (LOT C)
– Camson Road will be closed at the intersection of David Lee Coffee and Jim Ed Rice Pkwy.
– Woodcrest Drive will be closed at Spring Park Drive.
– Martin Luther King Jr Blvd will be closed from Old Country Farm Circle to David Lee Coffee Place. Road closures are in place for pedestrian safety.
– ADA accessible parking is located behind the amphitheater UNTIL FULL. Vehicles will be required to display their ADA placard.
Concert Bypass:
– Traffic on Civic Center Blvd traveling southeast should turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and proceed northeast to Clemson Blvd.
– Traffic on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd traveling north, should turn left onto Matthew Road and proceed to McGee Road.
– Traffic on Woodcrest Drive should turn right on to Spring Park Drive and proceed to Whitehall Road.

– Ride share drop off and pick up is located at the corner of David Lee Coffee Place and Camson Road at 219 David Lee Coffee Place, Anderson, SC 29625
Areas of Note:
Citizens who wish to avoid traffic should be aware of the expected area of congestion outlined in gray.
Main Entrance to the concert for all fans is located on Camson Road.
